| We design and etch spectacular pictures and crests permanently on granite headstones & memorials. Our techniques range from traditional hand cutting, sand blasting and the most modern, laser etching. We having been using laser to etch granite for over seven years now and we're the first memorial company in Ireland to use this technique. | Etching images on stone is a very skilled process. Unlike ceramic photo plaques with time will crack and chip from the cold and frost. These detailed images are engraved permanently into the surface of the stone. Time, skill and craftsmanship is needed to produce a high quality sharp image. We spend a lot of effort on our images so that we can capture as much detail as possible from the supplied image. | To create an etching we work from a photography or picture supplied by the customer. A good quality sharp image helps us capture the smallest detail. Backgrounds and other distractions not wanted in the etching can be removed to create the image you require. We can also provide you with a proof before the image is etched on the stone. |
